THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is exclusively partnered with a prominent family-run business in Holmfirth. They're looking to hire an Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger professional, to join their experienced finance team and report into Company Accountant and support the wider Finance function.
ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT / PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Handle purchase orders/quotes to invoices
- Responsible for maintaining all existing supplier accounts as well as creating any new accounts
- Responsible for handling all supplier queries
- Responsible for handling & paying supplier invoices
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Monitoring Company Fleet undertaking associated tasks.
- Responsible for all things Sales Ledger such as raising invoices/credit notes as well as Credit Control
- Other Ad-hoc financial duties
KEY EXPERIENCE:
- Have a minimum 1-2 years' experience as an Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk
- Excellent excel skills - competent with data manipulation; pivot tables; sumifs; vlookups
- Someone who is eager to learn, develop and progress their knowledge and experience within accounts
- Study Support is available for this role, and they encourage all forms of professional development
