COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT HANDLER / EXEC
NORTH LONDON
SALARY UP TO £50,000 + COMMISSION
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited are lucky to be representing one of London's premier Insurance brokers, they are currently looking to add an experienced commercial account handler / executive to their thriving in house team. This is a business with over 40 years experience within the industry and have built a great name for themselves. They are passionate about the clients they serve and the people they employ and this shows in the quality of their work.
The role will involve management of a portfolio of long-standing clients - day to day client contact and management including new business, MTAs and renewals, You will be required to service their existing customer base and provide quotations for new enquiries and will be a senior referral point and will be expected to deal with more complex risks.
This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who is a commercial account handler at a mid-senior level currently and who might be looking to move more into a more account executive type position as their next role.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Securing appropriate cover for new business, renewals and providing cross selling opportunities.
- Responsible for assigned renewals, MTAs and quotations in accordance with company processes
- Discuss any additional exposures and covers to ensure that all insurance requirements are satisfied.
- Ensure that system records are created and that the required documentation is issued to clients and insurers.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Good commercial insurance knowledge
- A customer focused mentality
- An ability to think outside the box when needed
- A willingness to go above and beyond for their clients
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Experience working for a broker handling commercial business
DESIRABLE:
- Currently using Acturis, so knowledge of the system would be an advantage.
