THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is partnered with a growing R&D business based in St Helens. The business is Government backed and is going through growth mode. They have grown to 35 in the last 18 months and are looking to hire a further 40 staff into the business across all areas. My client is looking to hire across the Finance Team and are looking for an ambitious Finance Manager to join the team and take on up to 90% on the Head of Finance's responsibilities and grow the Finance team of 3.
FINANCE MANAGER DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Day to day running of the Finance team
- Ledger Management
- Production of annual financial statements and management of audit process
- Management reporting
- VAT compliance
- Grant claiming
- Preparation and presentation of monthly management account, including Balance Sheet management
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Finance Business Partnering with Key Stakeholders within the business
- Production of rolling monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts
- Cashflow reporting and management of working capital in line with business strategy
FINANCE MANAGER KEY EXPERIENCE:
- Working in a similar Management Accountant or Finance Manager role
- ACCA, CIMA OR ACA Qualified or Part Qualified
- Experience in using Sage or an ERP system is desirable
FINANCE MANAGER SALARY IS UP TO £43,000 BASE + BENEFITS + HYBRID WORKING
