ACCOUNT MANAGER
OLDBURY - OFFICE BASED
UPTO £40,000 + ANNUAL PERFORMANCE BONUS + PROGRESSION
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited are recruiting on behalf of a well established distribution company based in the west midlands who are seeking an Account Manager to join their team! As an Account Manager you will be responsible for looking after existing accounts, maintaining and building relationships and increasing sales.
This role is a great opportunity for someone who is from an Account Manager, Internal Sales, Telesales, Sales Executive or similar role.
THE ROLE:
- Responsible for looking after existing accounts, maintaining and building relationships and growing sales
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
- Gaining referrals from existing clients
- Mapping out key contacts within existing clients
- Identifying potential new contacts within new organisations
- Ensuring all queries are dealt with promptly, working with colleagues to provide these solutions
- Maintain and update customer databases
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
THE PERSON:
- Must have 2 plus years working in an Account Manager, Internal Sales or similar role
- Manufacturing industry experience is desirable
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
