THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is partnered with an established not for profit educational charity based in York. They're looking to hire a Project Accountant to join the business on a temporary basis and support the finance team of 8 in preparing for the end of year audits. The Project Accountant will report into the Head of Finance and be responsible for;
PROJECT ACCOUNTANT DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Assist the finance team in preparing for Year End Audits
- Accruals
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Prepayments
- Debit & Credits
- Production of annual financial statements and management of audit process
- Management reporting
- VAT compliance
- Preparation and presentation of monthly management account, including Balance Sheet management
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Finance Business Partnering with Key Stakeholders within the business
- Production of rolling monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts
- Cashflow reporting and management of working capital in line with business strategy
FINANCE MANAGER KEY EXPERIENCE:
- Working in a similar Management Accountant or Project Manager role
- ACCA, CIMA OR ACA Qualified or Part Qualified
- Experience in using Sage or an ERP system is desirable
PROJECT ACCOUNTANT SALARY IS UP TO £38,000 BASE + BENEFITS + REMOTE WORKING
