ACCOUNT HANDLER - COMMERCIAL INSURANCE

THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited are working with an established insurance brokerage who are looking for an Account Handler to join their Commercial Insurance team in Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance professional to support a varied portfolio of commercial clients.
THE ROLE:
- Managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
- Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, and policy queries
- Preparing and issuing insurance documentation, including presentations and renewals
- Liaising with insurers to negotiate terms and obtain quotations
- Supporting Account Executives with client meetings and presentations
- Ensuring all records are accurate and compliant with FCA regulations
- Building strong working relationships with clients and insurers
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Must have previous experience in a Commercial Insurance Account Handler role
- Good knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- A proactive and client-focused approach
- Cert CII qualification (or working towards) - desirable but not essential
