Claims Handler
Location: Shrewsbury
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
We proud to represent a well-established, traditional commercial insurance brokerage seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join their team in Shrewsbury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage insurance claims for our commercial clients
- Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, and other relevant parties
- Ensure claims are handled efficiently and in compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to clients
- Identify potential issues and escalate complex claims when necessary
Requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial insurance claims handling
- Excellent knowledge of insurance products and claims processes
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) preferred
- Experience with paper-based systems and Acturis software
- Comfortable working with both traditional and digital processes
