On behalf of our client, an established independent insurance brokerage near Blackburn, we're seeking an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to spearhead their new in-house claims function.

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Role Overview:
- Lead the development of the in-house claims function
- Streamline the client journey throughout the claims process
- Manage commercial insurance claims from initiation to settlement
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the claims process
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse range of commercial insurance claims
- Develop and implement efficient claims handling procedures
- Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, and other relevant parties
- Provide expert advice to clients on claims-related matters
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the claims service
The Ideal Candidate:
- Extensive experience in handling various commercial insurance claims
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and policy wordings
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and drive process improvements
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
