THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is recruiting for a Legal Practice Manager for a fantastic Law Firm based in the heart of Preston. As a firm that prides itself on its client service, they are looking for a like-minded individual with experience in another Law Firm who is looking to join a growing business and play a key part in their growth!
You will be working alongside the firm's Directors to ensure the smooth running of the 2 offices the practice has, covering aspects such as HR, compliance, marketing and administrative support. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised Practice Manager, Office Manager or Senior Administrator from a Law Firm / Legal Practice who is looking to take the next step in their career!
THE ROLE:
- Coordinating HR within the practice, including policies, best practices and supporting managers and staff with HR-related queries
- Maintaining employment policies, staff handbook and employee records
- Supporting managers with recruitment and onboarding
- Arranging relevant insurance for the business
- Dealing with the renewal of the Professional Indemnity insurance
- Handling the renewal of Practice Certificates and Chartered Legal Executive licences
- Liaising with the Accountants and HMRC
- Ensuring regulatory compliance is adhered to
- Acting as the firms Data Protection Officer
- Overseeing relationships with external support providers for IT, CRMs and phone systems
- Managing contracts for suppliers
- Ensuring office equipment and supplies are ordered and distributed across the team
- Managing the business support and reception team
- Overseeing the marketing strategy for the firm
THE PERSON:
- Current experience in a Practice Manager, Office Manager or Senior Administrator within a Law Firm / Legal Practice
- Excellent understanding of the Legal industry and the regulatory and compliance requirements
- Confident in working alongside senior stakeholders internally and externally
- Ability to manage a busy and varied workload of proactive and reactive tasks and projects
- Computer literate with the ability to pick up new systems
- Excellent communication skills over email, the phone, face to face / Video
