FINANCE ASSISTANT - XERO

Get Recruited are recruiting for a Finance Assistant on behalf of a client of ours who are within the medical industry. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, processing invoices, handling basic accounting tasks, and supporting the finance department in day-to-day operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in financial management within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
- Process invoices, reconcile payments, and manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including data entry, filing, and organising financial documents.
- Assist in tracking and categorising expenses, ensuring adherence to budget guidelines.
- Aid in preparing financial reports, assisting in budget planning, and providing support in financial analysis.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and ensure accuracy in records.
- Must have Xero experience
- Experience of working in a similar finance administration / finance assistant / data entry finance / xero finance role
- Accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, with xero accounting software experience
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail in handling financial data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and external stakeholders.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to learn new tasks and software.
